Lake Time + Ted Drewes

When it is Summer around here, we always, always hit up the lake. 

It was a wonderful day to go.....until the tornado weather showed up 4 hours later!! 

ummmmm SCARY!

We almost did not make it into our cars safely, and for the first 20 minutes of the drive, I was SO worried we were going to get sucked out of our vehicles. 

But.....we made it back. Alive, too :)

And then we enjoyed more weather like THIS:

I guess StL is welcoming us back with its normal CRAZY weather! :)

We moved. We are back. And we are loving it.

I have already taught several Zumba classes, have lined up several potential clients, and we are now finishing the final touches on our business (to be released around July 15th!!)

WOOT.

Happy Father's Day to my amazing, smart, talented, spiritual, and GREAT father.

He is truly remarkable. 

And I am lucky to have him as my dad!

He has encouraged me to reach my dreams, get tons of education, uplift others, attend church regularly, fulfill commitments, work hard, play lots, put family first, always enjoy your food, give generously to others, don't waste time in front of the TV, travel as much as possible, work out/stay active, and love your spouse with all your heart.

My dad is a total gem. 

Oh, and for the record, he is a world-reknown Neurosurgeon. Yep, for reals. He is SO smart and humble about it all too. Amazing.

He is HOME!

My brother, the recent Elder Martin Bailey, is HOME!

He served a worthy, full-time mission in the Chile Vina Del Mar mission. For the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

And now he is BACK!

We are SO excited he is home :)

Happy Birthday Babe!

It is my LOVE's birthday today!

He is THE best thing that has ever happened to me, so I am especially grateful he was born today :)

In honor of his 27th birthday (I know, he is so young!), here are 27 reasons why Jared is totally awesome, the love of my life, and the best husband ever:

1. He treats me like a princess.

2. He knows who he is and acts like it.

3. He can make ANYone laugh, especially me. At ANY time.

4. He is always the life of the party.....well, 'we' are ;)

5. He loves Mexican food <---(it is easy to make, so score for me! ha)

6. He is a family man to the core.

7. He knows how to work smart, not just hard.

8. He loves fixing things<---once again, score for me! ha.

9. He is really good with kiddos (melts my heart)

10. He gives amazing foot rubs!

11. He is really smart but very humble about it.

12. He is hot. 'nuff said.

13. He will eat frozen yogurt with me, even if he doesn't like it.

14. He loves the extra addition of throw pillows on our bed.....

15. He is always willing to help out. Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.

16. He kisses me, a lot. And he is not afraid to show (that he loves me). 

17. He always drives when we're together <---I hate driving.

18. He is the sweetest guy. EVER.

19. He decorates and leaves me notes because he loves me.

20. He is going to be an amazing father one day.

21. He let me choose all the details, colors, and other small (but very significant in my eyes) details of our wedding.

22. He desires to help, serve, and love everyone. I don't think he has a mean bone in his entire, HOT body.

23. He performs and does everything the best he can, and it is never half way or half-hearted.

24. He supported me throughout the entire Masters' schooling process!

25. He believes in me!!

26. He always puts the dishes away <----I hate this kitchen job with a passion.

and last, but not least,

27. Jared is the best husband in the world because he is MINE. And he loves me to the core.

So glad I get him for forever!!
